CEO Prep Programs: Introduction and Registration

Program 1: CEO Exam Prep

This course is suitable for students in grades 9-12, who have initially completed the study of macroeconomics and microeconomics, want to further study and strengthen economics knowledge, and are interested in participating in the economics Olympiad this year or in the future.

Unit 1: Concept Review

1. Microeconomics

  • Elasticity, Taxation, and Consumer Choice
  • Cost of Production
  • Perfect Competition
  • Monopoly
  • Imperfect Competition: Monopolistic Competition and Oligopoly
  • Resource Markets with Applications to Labor
  • Government and Public Sector

2. Macroeconomics

  • The National Economic Accounts
  • Inflation and Unemployment
  • Money and Banking
  • Monetary Theory
  • Aggregate Supply and Aggregate Demand
  • Monetary Policy
  • Fiscal Policy
  • International Trade and Finance

Unit 2: Practice

  1. Applying Microeconomics and Macroeconomics concepts to solving past papers
  2. Mock exams


Program 2: Business Case Prep

This course is suitable for students in grades 9-12, who understand the basic methods of business case analysis, want to improve their business case analysis ability and are interested in participating in the business case analysis competition this year or in the future.

The course will consist of 3 business case analysis mock competitions. Each course (3 hours) will be a simulation of a real competition scenario. The main content of each simulation course is as follows:

  • Students will receive a different business case for each course about one week in advance, and students need to carry out business case analysis and complete presentation documents according to the requirements of the real competition
  • Prepare the presentation slides and present the slides to the class
  • The teacher commented on the results of the students' business case analysis results (slides and presentation), and put forward suggestions for improvement.

Step 2: Email Transfer the fees to finance@lorvale.com. You must include STUDENT'S NAME, GRADE, PROGRAM NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS (the same as in the registration form) in the message box when making the Email Transfer.

Step 3: We will send you the email to confirm your registration. The Zoom information will be sent to you before the program starts.
